Trump weighs in on another major renovation project he has in the works

President Donald Trump is making the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. GREAT AGAIN.

In February 2025, Trump dismissed many far-left members of the Kennedy Center’s board of trustees and installed more conservative members, and Richard Grenell was named interim president.

“Woke programming,” including drag shows, were eliminated, and every concert now begins with the national anthem.

President Trump provided an updated on Truth Social in the wee hours of the morning on Monday. He wrote:

The new TRUMP KENNEDY, whoops, I mean, KENNEDY CENTER, columns, beautifully painted in a luxuriant white enamel color, replacing the fake looking gold paint that was there for years.

Many major improvements are being made, including seating, carpeting, wall coverings, ceilings, chandeliers, stages, heating and A/C, etc., to what will soon be the finest Arts and Entertainment Center anywhere in the World. Come see for yourself.

We are remaining fully open during construction, renovation, and beautification. I am doing the same thing to the United States of America, but only on a “slightly” larger scale!

On Friday, Grenell posted a moving moment from a recent performance, as the orchestra played the “Star Spangled Banner” and the crowd joins in.

Since returning to the Oval Office in January, the president has also tackled multiple renovation projects at the White House, including installing two large flagpoles on the lawn, replacing the grassy lawn of the Rose Garden with stone pavers to make it easier to host events, renovated the Oval Office, and is now replacing the old East Wing with a new ballroom and modernized office space.
