Just four days ahead of President-elect Donald Trump’s Inauguration Day, one supporter has posted a prayer on social media that deserves to be highlighted and shared.
X user ‘Rodney B’ shared the following heartfelt prayer for Trump:
Heavenly Father,
On this Inauguration Day, we come before You with hearts filled with hope and gratitude. We thank You for the peaceful transition of leadership and for the opportunity to witness the renewal of our nation’s commitment to governance by the people.
We pray specifically for Donald J. Trump as he steps into his role. Lord, grant him wisdom beyond his years and understanding, that he may lead with justice, equity, and compassion. Surround him with advisors who are truthful and wise, and protect him from those who would seek to do harm.
Bless him with strength and courage to face the challenges ahead. May he be guided by Your truth and light in every decision he makes, fostering unity and healing in our divided nation.
Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over him, his family, and all who serve alongside him in government. Keep them safe from all dangers, seen and unseen, on this day and throughout his term.
Infuse this inaugural ceremony with Your peace, that it may be a symbol of new beginnings, not just for one man, but for all citizens of this country. Let this day be marked by the spirit of cooperation and the pursuit of the common good.
We pray for our nation, that it may grow in wisdom, love, and unity. Help us, as a people, to work together towards peace, prosperity, and justice for all.
