While President Donald J. Trump’s inauguration ceremony was still underway Monday, multiple major transitions occurred behind the scenes.

Just moments after Trump took the oath of office, the WhiteHouse.gov website flipped over to the Trump administration.

“Every single day I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body. I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve. This will truly be the golden age of America,” a statement on the Trump White House website reads.

Also, the @POTUS X account transitioned to “President Donald J. Trump,” and the @WhiteHouse X account also transitioned to the Trump administration.

The @POTUS account used by Joe Biden was changed to an archive account (@POTUS46Archive) that will remain as a permanent record, but no additional posts can be added.

The White House X account has posted two videos so far, of both President Trump and Vice President JD Vance taking their oaths of office.
