From NY Post: A prominent real estate agent who specialized in high-end properties and was featured on the popular Netflix show “Million Dollar Beach House” was killed by a hit-and-run driver in the Hamptons on Thursday afternoon, according to police and reports.
Sara Burack, 40, was found unconscious by police on a Hampton Bays road shortly before 3 p.m. and the motorist who struck and killed her remains at large, police said, according to Newsday.
Southampton Town Police Detectives and a New York State Police Accident Reconstruction Unit investigated the scene, according to Dan’s Papers.
Police have not released any details about the type of vehicle that hit Burack, reports say.
Barack was was a contestant in a Netflix reality show about competing real estate agents who were trying to “seal the deal on luxury listings in the Hamptons,” according to Netflix’s description of the show.
Burack’s former employer, Nest Seekers International, handled upscale properties, Newsday reported.
Geoff Gifkins, the Hamptons regional manager for Nest Seekers, said in a message, “Our thoughts and prayers are with family and friends. Please be kind and respectful as this is a tremendous loss to her parents and close friends.”
