President Donald Trump scolded the media during a ceremony at the White House on Monday honoring Angel Families, who have lost loved one at the hands of illegal aliens.
He recalled the first time he had a meeting with Angel Families, and said the media just turned off their cameras when the families started sharing their stories.
“That was my first glimpse at what was happening,” he said, adding that their stories were censored and suppressed, while politicians simply opened our borders and allowed our nation to be invaded.
“We’re willing to tell the story… I don’t know why, the news doesn’t want to hear it, the Democrats don’t want to hear it… what’s not to hear? We want to stop murderers and criminals from coming into our country,” Trump said.

However, even as Trump was calling out the liberal media for shunning the Angel Families and refusing to tell the stories of the illegal aliens killing American citizens, they did it again.
Reportedly, CNN and MSNOW (previously MSNBC) both refused to air coverage of the White House Angel Families ceremony to their viewers on Monday. As multiple parents spoke about their loved ones killed by illegal aliens, CNN and MSNOW both ignored it.
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung voiced his disgust, writing, “Sickening and horrific that CNN and MSNOW are outright refusing to broadcast this powerful and moving event. It’s like they don’t care about victims and their families.”

Likewise, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt wrote, “CNN is a total disgrace. President Trump hosted a powerful event honoring Angel Families who lost loved ones at the hands of illegal alien criminals and deadly drugs – but CNN refused to cover EVEN one second of it.”
“That’s because CNN doesn’t care about the victims of illegal alien crime. They pretend to be a news organization, but they refuse to cover anything that doesn’t fit the Left’s narrative. This is why CNN is failing and losing all of their viewership.”

In another post, Leavitt added, “CNN spends much of their time attacking the Trump Administration’s strict immigration policies, but they will never air stories like this, which are the reason our strict enforcement policies are happening in the first place.”

“CNN will never show this incredible man’s honest words because he completely debunks their fake narrative that “Trump is bad and racist”,” Leavitt said, sharing a video of Jody Jones, whose brother was shot and killed by an illegal alien.

Leavitt also ripped into NBC News correspondent Garrett Haake, who was mocking President Trump’s remarks at the ceremony.

White House deputy communications director Kaelan Dorr also wrote, “President Trump is currently hosting a truly tear jerking event, signing a proclamation honoring Angel Families. And CNN and MSNow(?) aren’t covering it. Sick. Disgusting. Mask is off.”

Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet also blasted the two liberal networks.
“CNN and MS NOW refused to air President Trump’s ceremony this morning honoring Angel Families. They’ll cover alleged human trafficker and wife beater Kilmar Abrego Garcia for hours, or an illegal abandoning his five-year-old son, but not the American parents whose children were murdered by the Open Borders cult.
“Shame on them all. I decided to post the ENTIRE THING here on @X to honor the families they refuse to. Share it FAR and WIDE and stand with Angel Families.”
