THE NUT HOUSE FILES: Left-Wing Activists Gripe As Kennedy Center Promotes Employees Who Are Actually Doing Their Jobs

FROM DAILY CALLER: Richard Grenell promoted over a dozen high performing Kennedy Center staff, and the left immediately began whining.

A Kennedy Center source told the Caller the left is taking the news of the Kennedy Center takeover so hard that some of them would rather quit their jobs than find an amicable way to work with new leadership, including Grenell and staff members brought in with him. But despite mainstream media claims of broad staffing issues, Grenell has promoted dozens of employees since taking over the Center. This week alone, 9 of the 14 promotions stemmed from the programming department, demonstrating the emphasis that has been put on future shows at the historic venue.

Sources close to the matter asserted that 80% of the individuals promoted to new positions were on staff prior to the arrival of President Donald Trump and Ambassador Ric Grenell, but that didn’t seem to be enough to stop the left from griping about the changes.

“We are expanding Kennedy Center programming to include more options and bring in fan-favorites that appeal to the masses,” said Vice President of PR Roma Daravi.

Another contentious decision stemmed from the firing of three dance programming department staff members in September. Despite multiple opportunities to generate new ideas, they failed.

Stephen Nakagawa, a former dancer in Salt Lake City’s Ballet West’s apprentice program, was appointed as the new dance director for the Kennedy Center. Nakagawa previously opposed “radical leftist ideologies in ballet” but supported the new direction of the facility.
