FROM FOX NEWS: Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk, a conservative campus activist and an outspoken Christian, said just months before his assassination that he wanted to be remembered most for his courage in his Christian faith, according to a resurfaced interview clip now circulating widely online.
Kirk, 31, was fatally shot while speaking at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.
The resurfaced clip has gone viral in the wake of his tragic death, with many social media users highlighting Kirk’s words as a reflection of the principles he championed throughout his career.
During his June 29 appearance on “The Iced Coffee Hour” podcast, Kirk was asked by host Jack Selby how he wanted to be remembered.
“If I die?” Kirk asked.
“Everything just goes away,” Selby clarified. “If you could be associated with one thing, how would you want to be remembered?”
“I want to be remembered for courage for my faith,” Kirk said. “That would be the most important thing; most important thing is my faith.”
Social media users have amplified his humble wish, making it clear that even among his detractors, Kirk is known as a man of faith and typically referred to as a Christian, a fitting testament to his wish.
Examples follow.
His politics may have bothered me recently but his love of Jesus was by far the greatest gift he gave our youth. Never heard someone speak so eloquently about their faith. He was truly a good & faithful servant to God. pic.twitter.com/To3g5GlsM4

He was friendly with everyone. He was stern in his convictions. He didn’t waver in his faith. They don’t want that. It angers the enemy when truth prevails. https://t.co/wlIDIdg0LC

I love Charlie Kirk because he didn't live in fear of speaking the truth, which many ppl hate or love him for. He wasn't afraid to talk about extremely hard issues.
He encouraged ppl to talk openly and freely. Whether they agreed with him or not. I loved his faith in Jesus!— Kathy Gannon (@OceanLover_05) September 12, 2025
Charlie spoke boldly about his faith and beliefs. The world needs more people open to talk and share perspectives. Without communication and faith we are nothing. No matter what your beliefs are we need to listen to each and everyone’s perspective and love up on each other. https://t.co/oNtkLML1qn

I agree, I am amazed by his grasp of the scripture and his ability to apply it. I do not see anger or hate in him, I really don’t. I see a man who loves God and His Word and who refuses to ignore its truths – popular or not. https://t.co/MFMYZJKEZH

I love how casually he dropped God into everything he said. He truly lived to honor Him https://t.co/KZSNwelYYp

I admired Charlie Kirk's willingness to share his faith. He never shied away from it.
It's feels at times like it's best to hide that part of your life.
Charlie reminded me to have courage to live my faith openly. Come what may. Grateful for his courage and life. Prayers Up

This is it. He nails it and why I loved what he had to say/ Didn’t always agree but he was someone that was unapologetic about his love for Jesus, family and friends. If you have Jesus, Family and a close group of friends it changes your perspective for the better. https://t.co/1FEPrzxn9i
