According to a new Forbes report, Beyoncé has officially become a billionaire.
She became the fifth musician to reach the milestone, joining her husband Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and Rihanna. Beyoncé, the most decorated artist in Grammy history, has continued her dominance in recent years, with her 2023 Renaissance tour grossing more than $500 million across 56 shows and attracting over 2.7 million fans.
Her concert film Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé topped the box office on its December 2023 opening weekend with $21 million. In 2024, she released the country album Cowboy Carter, which won album of the year at the 2025 Grammys, where she earned three awards. The Cowboy Carter Tour grossed more than $400 million, becoming the highest-grossing country tour ever, according to Pollstar.
Beyoncé has branched into businesses such as hair care (Cécred), whiskey (SirDavis), and fashion (Ivy Park, discontinued in 2024). However, most of her wealth still comes from music—through ownership of her catalog and massive revenue from global stadium tours. In today’s entertainment industry, few ventures are more lucrative than a stadium-selling artist. In the post-pandemic era, performers have gone bigger than ever, expanding live shows into massive spectacles often capped by documentary films.
Nearly half of the 22 billionaire entertainers identified by Forbes were added to the list within the past three years.
