In a Facebook post late Wednesday night, DMLNewsApp founder and podcast host Dennis Michael Lynch shared details of a provision Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell slipped into the government funding bill that has just destroyed an entire industry and will have devastating consequences for millions of people across America.

Sen. Mitch McConnell (RINO-Kentucky) and the the entire GOP hate Trump, they always have and they always will. You and I voted for him three times, and we hoped we’d have 20+ years of Republican control. But nope, Mitch wanted things differently.
It wasn’t the Democrats who got Trump tonight, it was the GOP who shot themselves in the heart. The Trump hating GOP just played 4-D chess on our beloved president and his entire staff, including House Speaker Mike Johnson. Sadly, not one member on Trump’s team, nor Trump himself, saw it coming. What am I referring to?
Although Trump and the WH are claiming victory over the battle of opening the government, Mitch saw to it that the Democrats win the war. The GOP will likely lose the midterms because Mitch stuck in a last second “hemp ban” provision that has many, many people furious. The threads on X are filled with people saying they will never vote Republican again.
The hemp ban is not a drug ban. If Mitch wanted to protect kids, as he claims, he could have banned what’s called Delta 8. It is the part of the hemp plant that has no place being in CBD products. I do not sell Delta 8. And because I am anti-drugs, I agree to rid of it, although many people would disagree. But, either way, Mitch didn’t do that. Instead, not only did he target Delta 8, but he went after the clean stuff that heals and protects, knowing all too well it would collapse the industry and keep Big Pharma happy.
Wait until the masses learn how they’ll no longer have safe, non-toxic CBD because Mitch and the GOP. The hemp-derived CBD industry is going to die. For example, I have made the decision to shutter DML CBD tonight. Tomorrow, I will have a fire sale as a way of giving back to my customers but then it is over. The draconian rules they are implementing ain’t worth the time or frustration.
Mitch is retiring, and he HATES TRUMP. Call it the perfect storm, I guess. Whatever the name, his last move was bringing forward a hemp ban which will cause a Trump impeachment in 2026. Because MARK MY WORD, and I NEVER GET THIS STUFF WRONG, the midterms are all but lost. For starters, AI is about to kick into job-stealing mode come February; the layoffs are going to be massive. In addition, younger voters are running out of rope, they are fed-up with not getting ahead because costs are too high. Tack on hearing that 600k Chinese students and saving woke universities is more important than American students and presto, the backlash comes inside the voter’s booth.
It only gets worse with folks like Candace Owens, who reaches MILLIONS of young voters. She now tells her listeners, daily, how she regrets pushing people to vote for Trump. And then there is Nick Fuentes, who also reaches millions of young people, saying last night that “MAGA is DEAD.” The cancer is spreading, and it is stage 4 fast.
So when Trump signs a CR that in essence crushes the hemp industry and hundreds of farmers who grow it, and older people with ailments feel like they got f*cked out of their all-natural remedy, Mitch won’t be around to blame so it will all point back to the party. How the Trump team missed this is questionable in of itself, as this CR is killing the very industry Trump gave life too.
A $30 billion dollar industry is on the brink of going belly up; tens of thousands of jobs lost with no alternatives, and millions of voters will no longer have the pain relief, sleep relief, anxiety relief, skin issue relief, formulas that are non-toxic, non-addictive, tested safe, and anti-Pharma.
And before you ask, “Why didn’t you tell this to Trump?” Let me say, I AM NOT FAN OF SENATOR RAND PAUL, but the dude tried. He tried screaming to Trump the pitfalls of the sneaky language. Instead of listening, the GOP and influencers on X said Rand was trying to protect “stoners.” Folks, I have never done a drug in my life, never even tried POT. My customers are not “stoners.”
Now, know this: There will be idiots online, some will be posting on this very feed, who will tell you I am wrong. When you read their comments, be sure to click on their empty profiles and then ask yourself, “should I listen to an award winning entrepreneur like DML who operates in the CBD space, or some keyboard warrior trolling? Should I listen to DML who has nothing to lose or gain from this post, or some loser who posts pictures of his dirt bike, or some woman with 8 cats?”
I am not writing this with hope of saving my CBD business, that ship sailed two hours ago. I am not trying to say the sky is falling, and I hate being negative. And to be 120% honest, from a business and personal time perspective it is a blessing in disguise. Now I get to focus my time on my media efforts exclusively, and maybe a day or two for golf this month.
Mitch & Company have written this ban in such a way that is sneakily brilliant. They make it look like it’s not a ban, but it is so restrictive that guys like me are willing to walk away, farmers will have no choice but to grow alternative crops, and the costs of products will skyrocket. So, instead of getting a natural sleeping aid via safe CBD products, you now return to the highly toxic OTC P.M. meds that put your brain to sleep by depriving it of the oxygen it needs. Thanks to Mitch’s cunning ways, cemented by Trump’s own pen.
Don’t shoot me for telling you the story, I didn’t write it. Tonight, I lose more money, time, and effort than you can ever imagine. I truly care less about the money, my heart bleeds for the people who depend on these products. I for one am nervous about my stomach ailments returning, my sleep deprivation returning, and the fallout of not having a natural remedy that I can rub on my neck throughout the day.
If I was sitting in front of Trump earlier today, I would have told him not to sign the CR unless the sneaky hemp provision was removed. Since when does a hemp ban have anything to do with funding the government? If I was sitting with him tomorrow, I’d tell him to start focusing on the youngsters who are barely hanging on, talk to the voters who are not seeing the MAGA rewards, and stop talking about tariffs every two seconds. If he can get things focused on what matters most, maybe he escapes the hemp ban.
I know DJT is trying really hard, and I know he loves America, and being POTUS has got to be brutally hard, but Mitch just played his McCain card. It feels like the Obamacare vote all over again.
Keep in mind, between Prop50 and now this ban, unless something changes we will lose the House… but if we lose the Senate too, Trump will not only be impeached, he will be removed. These are dangerous times. He has to take this seriously.
