THE AUDACITY! Democrat governor tells residents to dox ICE agents

Late Monday night, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, a Democrat, posted a statement on X, brazenly calling for Illinois residents to dox Customs and Immigration Enforcement (ICE) agents if they are seen in their neighborhood.

This comes amid a growing number of attacks on ICE agents, encouraged by radical Democrats, liberal media and pro-migrant activists.

Just last week, a gunman opened fire on an ICE detention center in Dallas, targeting ICE agents. Instead, the gunman ended up shooting three ICE detainees, killing one and wounding two others.  One of the two wounded detainees has now died as well.

Over the last several days, there are also been numerous protests and riots by radical activists against ICE facilities in the Chicago area, including a violent standoff last Friday, where rioters were heard chanting “Arrest ICE!” and “Shoot ICE!”

Monday night, Pritzker poured fuel on the fire, releasing the following statement:

People of Illinois, we need your help. Get your cell phones out – record what you see. Put it on social media. Peacefully ask for badge numbers and identification. Speak up for your neighbors. We need to let the world know this is happening – and that we won’t stand for it.

Pritzker is being blasted over his post.

X user “DataRepublican” wrote, “Governor Pritzker, you may have committed a felony with this social media post. Illinois is not a one-party consent state. Under 720 ILCS 5/14-2, secretly recording a private conversation without the consent of all parties is a felony.

“By broadly urging people to “record what you see,” you may also have triggered 720 ILCS 5/8-1. That statute makes it a crime to encourage others to commit a felony. Solicitation carries penalties tied to the underlying offense… meaning it, too, can be a felony.”

“You won’t stand for what, ICE enforcing our immigration laws or Federal assistance with the crazy number of shootings you have in Chicago,” declared X user Greg Midtbo.

Chicago reporter William Kelly torched Pritzker with the following statement:

Governor Pritzker, you talk about making a record of what you see, putting it on social media, letting the world know what is happening. But yesterday your staff denied me access to your press conference with Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson. When I asked why, they told me I wasn’t on your list. Wasn’t on your list? What list? I’ve attended your pressers before. Fortunately, I, too, have made a record of what happened https://x.com/Williamjkelly/status/1972816935026110484

This is a direct violation of the Constitution. It is exactly the kind of authoritarian, anti-democratic behavior you say Donald Trump is guilty of. Denying access to the press is not just dangerous — it erodes the very freedoms you claim to defend.

You were furious when Jimmy Kimmel was suspended for a “weekend” after lying about Charlie Kirk’s assassin, and you spoke loudly about the importance of the First Amendment. But when it came to me, you and your staff showed no concern for my First Amendment rights.

You cannot claim to defend democracy while practicing censorship. That is hypocrisy, and it is authoritarian rule, plain and simple.

ICE announced Monday afternoon, “On Saturday night, federal agents arrested armed rioters Jocelyne Robledo and Ray Collins for assault at ICE’s Broadview facility. They will be prosecuted and held accountable. Thanks to our partners at @ATF_Chicago, @CBP and @USMarshalsHQ. We will not be deterred.”

Attorney General Pam Bondi also released a statement Monday afternoon and announced, “I just issued a memo to all @TheJusticeDept components making it clear: violence against federal officers will not be tolerated.

“The DOJ is deploying agents to protect ICE facilities, arrest violent agitators on the spot, and bring the strongest federal charges possible. The rule of law will prevail.”
