From Fox News: Gunfire echoed through Tehran Tuesday as heavily armed militias were deployed across the Iranian capital, transforming some districts into fortified zones under intense security.
Video footage showed bursts of automatic weapons after dark as government buildings, state media sites and major intersections were reportedly placed under guard, with armored pickups and masked fighters patrolling the streets in Toyotas.
The trucks were mounted with heavy machine guns and were moving in convoys with weapons firing into the darkness as armed men shouted commands.
In the video, large-caliber guns can be heard rattling as vehicles maneuver through urban streets.
Ali Safavi, a senior official with the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), shared the video on X and wrote, “The deployment of dozens of Toyotas mounted with heavy machine guns (DShK) & other heavy weapons in Tehran. They are reportedly being used by elements linked to Lebanese Hezbollah &Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF). Their commander speaks in Farsi.”

The Iranian people are reportedly wanting to topple the hard-lined Islamic regime and restore exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi as their leader.
Pahlavi posted a fierce message on X Monday that stated, in part:
A letter to Ali Khamenei, the leader of the occupying regime of Iran:
You are an anti-Iranian criminal. You have neither honor nor humanity. Your hands are stained with the blood of tens of thousands of Iranians; the blood of children; the blood of youth; the blood of the innocent.
You, your regime, and all your mercenaries will be held accountable for every single drop of blood you have spilled; without exception.
We neither forgive. Nor forget. Nor retreat.
Just as the Nazi criminals were tried and punished at Nuremberg, you and your accomplices will also be tried and punished; in the court of the Iranian nation.

In a Fox News interview, Pahlavi said, “The Islamic Republic is at war with the Iranian people. A decisive strike against its tools of oppression—especially the IRGC leadership and command infrastructure—would shift the balance and empower the people to collapse the regime on its last legs.”

Over the weekend, Iranian journalist and activist Masih Alinejad shared a chilling video and wrote, “Count the bullets. Each shot took a life. This is a public execution in Tehran. The Islamic Republic doesn’t reform, it kills, lies, and kills again. Regime told @realDonaldTrump, they has “stopped the execution of 800 protesters,” big lie to buy time.”

President Donald Trump was asked during a White House press briefing on Tuesday whether military action against Iran was off the table.
He responded, “No.”
