TERROR ALERT: Chinese Anchor Babies, Now Adults, Accused of Planting Bomb at MacDill Air Force Base

From Breitbart: A pair of Chinese-American siblings is accused of planting an improvised explosive device (IED) at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. The siblings, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials have revealed, are the now adult “anchor babies” of Chinese illegal aliens who were rewarded birthright citizenship for their two children after their mother delivered them in the United States.

Last week, the Department of Justice (DOJ) brought charges against 20-year-old Alen Zheng and 27-year-old Ann Mary Zheng after they allegedly orchestrated an attack on MacDill Air Force Base, including planting an IED on the premises.

Federal investigators allege that on March 10, 2026, a bomb threat at MacDill Air Force Base was called into the police. Investigators said Alen Zheng made the call, though no IED was found at the time. Two days later, the Zhengs left the U.S. for China.

On March 16, six days after the Zhengs allegedly planted the IED, an Air Force service member discovered the bomb. The following day, Ann Mary Zheng flew back to the United States from China and was arrested by authorities.

Her brother, Alen Zheng, is believed to still be on the run in China.

Alen and Ann Mary Zheng were both born in the United States and were granted U.S. citizenship.  Their parents, Qiu Qin Zou and Jia Zhang Zheng, were illegal aliens from China.

According to a DHS press release, the parents had applied for asylum in 1993, but an immigration judge denied the asylum claims and ordered both Zheng and Zou to be removed from the U.S. in 1998. However, despite the deportation order, the parents never left, since their children were US citizens.

On March 18, two days after the bomb was discovered at MacDill Air Force Base, ICE agents took the parents into custody.

In a statement posted on X, DHS wrote: “INSANITY: The suspects connected to an attempt to plant an explosive device at MacDill Air Force Base are the children of ILLEGAL ALIENS. @ICEgov apprehended the suspects’ parents, Qiu Qin Zhou and Jia Zhang Zheng, illegal aliens from China.

“This attempted attack illustrates why the improper recognition of “birthright citizenship” for the children of illegal aliens is not only inconsistent with the Constitution, but endangers all Americans.”

In another post, DHS warned, “Automatically granting citizenship to children of illegal aliens born in the U.S. is based on a historically inaccurate interpretation of the Citizenship Clause and poses a major national security risk. That reality became apparent last week when two U.S.-born children of Chinese illegal aliens were indicted for planting a potentially deadly explosive device outside MacDill Air Force Base in Florida. This incident underscores the severe national security threat that illegal immigration and birth right citizenship pose to the United States.”

MacDill Air Force Base houses the headquarters of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), which is currently handling Operation Epic Fury against Iran, and is also home to U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), which oversees all special operations forces across the Department of War.

Federal agents held a press conference in Florida last week on the case.

The DML News App covered the alarming case last week, but Homeland Security just shared the news Friday afternoon that the parents of the brother and sister responsible for trying to bomb the Air Force base were actually “anchor babies,” born to illegal aliens from China.

This comes after the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments this week on the legality of President Donald Trump’s executive order that would prevent babies born in the U.S. to illegal aliens or foreign tourists from being given U.S. citizenship.
