STUNNING: Ukraine’s Zelensky Attacks Trump and Vance to U.S. Media, Tours Ammo Plant in PA at Taxpayers’ Expense

From Breitbart: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is bashing former President Donald Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), attacking them in American media outlets and touring an ammunition factory in Pennsylvania Sunday — reportedly arriving there at the taxpayers’ expense on an Air Force jet.

The New Yorker has an exhaustive piece on Zelensky penned by Joshua Yaffa, stating that the Ukrainian leader “speaks with the urgency of a leader who knows that he may be facing his last best chance for substantial foreign assistance” as President Biden’s presidential term is coming to an end. The Q&A in the piece is revealing, as Zelensky openly attacks Trump, asserting that he “doesn’t really know how to stop the war even if he might think he knows how.”

“With this war, oftentimes, the deeper you look at it the less you understand. I’ve seen many leaders who were convinced they knew how to end it tomorrow, and as they waded deeper into it, they realized it’s not that simple,” he said, ripping Trump’s running mate, Vance, as “too radical.”

“Vance has come out with a more precise plan to—” the New Yorker asked as Zelensky chimed in, “to give up our territories.”

The report further quotes Zelensky as saying of Trump, “His message seems to be that Ukraine must make a sacrifice. This brings us back to the question of the cost and who shoulders it. The idea that the world should end this war at Ukraine’s expense is unacceptable. But I do not consider this concept of his a plan, in any formal sense. This would be an awful idea, if a person were actually going to carry it out, to make Ukraine shoulder the costs of stopping the war by giving up its territories. But there’s certainly no way this could ever happen. This kind of scenario would have no basis in international norms, in U.N. statute, in justice. And it wouldn’t necessarily end the war, either. It’s just sloganeering.”

Pennyslvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, a Democrat, posted a video of himself and Zelensky touring an artillery shell manufacturing plant in Scranton, Pennsylvania on Sunday. In the video, Shapiro is signing shells to be used in the war in Ukraine.

Zelensky touted his visit to Pennsylvania in a post on social media. He wrote:

“During my visit to the Scranton Army Ammunition Plant, where components for artillery and mortar shells are produced, including 155 mm shells for Ukraine, I emphasized the dedication of the workers, which is truly inspiring—they are helping Ukraine stand strong in our fight for freedom.

“I am grateful to the people of Scranton, Pennsylvania, and all the states where Americans are building this incredible arsenal of global freedom. Together, we are strengthening the defense of liberty and democracy.”

Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.) wrote, “Zelensky is openly campaigning for Democrats in battleground Pennsylvania today some 50 days out from our Presidential election. Unreal.”

Policy advisor Dan Caldwell wrote, “Worth noting that Zelenskyy was flown to Pennsylvania on an U.S. Air Force C-17. The Biden-Harris admin is using military assets to fly a foreign leader into a battleground state in order to undermine their political opponents.”

Mollie Hemingway at The Federalist responded, “This is an impeachable offense on the part of Biden-Harris. And dangerously reckless move on Zelensky’s part to campaign for Harris in a battleground state on U.S. taxpayer funds.”

Pennsylvania resident Byl Holte reacted in fury.

“Let me see if I have this straight: Zelensky, the grifter of Ukraine, is now AGAIN on US soil. He was flown here on a US Air Force C-17. He’s flying around MY STATE of Pennsylvania CAMPAIGNING FOR HARRIS/WALZ. He’s touring US ammunition factories. And he’s attacking Donald Trump and JD Vance in the media.

“My lord, have we just given up on the idea of political CIVILITY and being a 2-party state? How can a foreign leader be here actively campaigning for one candidate over the other? If this isn’t yet ANOTHER TREASONOUS ACT, I don’t know what is!”

Fox News co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy wrote, “They WANT war. A few weeks ago Zelensky was begging for a peace accord. Washington & media ignored his cries. Today he’s in PA signing artillery shells & campaigning for Kamala. What happened? How much more did the war machine pay him to keep the war going & the $ flowing?”

Speaking at a campaign rally in Indiana, Pennsylvania Monday night, Trump said, “If I win this election, the first thing I am going to do, is call up Zelensky and call up President Putin and I am going to say you’ve got to make a deal…this is crazy!”

“I think Zelensky‘s the greatest salesman in history. Every time he comes into the country he walks away with $60 billion,” Trump also said during his rally speech.
