Billionaire Elon Musk joined President-elect Trump on Thursday at the America First Policy Institute Gala at Mar-a-Lago, Florida.
Musk will co-lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) with Vivek Ramaswamy, aiming to eliminate trillions in federal waste and fraud.
Musk described his role as a “revolution” for America that extends beyond business. He and Ramaswamy will work with the White House and Office of Management & Budget to offer external advice and drive structural reforms, introducing a groundbreaking entrepreneurial approach to government.
“As President Trump said, what we need is common sense,” Musk told those attending at Mar-a-Lago. “This won’t be business as usual. This is going to be a revolution.”
