SPECIAL REPORT: RFK Jr’s wife, scores of others respond after he suspends campaign, teams up with Trump

Reactions are pouring in, after independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suspended his presidential campaign in a compelling speech on Friday and announced he is teaming up with Republican 2024 nominee, former President Donald Trump.

Kennedy tore into Democrats for abandoning the values he grew up with, and slammed their radical agenda, censorship an attacks on anyone they don’t want standing in the way.

He also exposed much of what is behind the war between Russia and Ukraine, and explained why he is suspending his campaign to join forces with Trump.  He said Trump has proposed giving him a role in the Trump administration.

Kennedy’s wife, Cheryl Hines, was one of those who posted her reaction on social media. She wrote:

The decision has been made to suspend my husband’s, Robert Kennedy Jr.’s, presidency and I’d like to extend a sincere, deeply heartfelt thank you to every person who has worked so tirelessly and lovingly on his campaign. They have accomplished feats that were said to be impossible.

They have gathered over a million signatures, more than any candidate in history, and have achieved ballot access across the country despite the roadblocks and lawsuits that have been brought against them for the sole purpose of keeping Bobby off of the ballots so no one would even have the opportunity to vote for him. I deeply respect the decision Bobby made to run on the principle of unity.

Over the last year and a half, I have met some extraordinary people from all parties — Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. It’s been my experience that the vast majority of all parties are truly good people who want the best for our country and for each other. It has been an eye-opening, transformative, and endearing journey.

Kennedy responded, “I am so grateful to my amazing wife Cheryl for her unconditional love, as I made a political decision with which she is very uncomfortable. I wish this also for the country — love and unity even in the face of disagreement. We will need that in coming times.”

Kennedy’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, posted the following statement:

You sparked a movement that millions of Americans had been longing for. It has been one of my greatest honors to run this race with you. It has been awe-inspiring to witness the fearlessness you showed in the face of censorship, blatant lies about your character, and even threats against your life. Save our children, Bobby. 🇺🇸

Below is an interview with a young Kennedy supporter in Glendale, Arizona Friday morning.  He confirmed that he will gladly vote for Trump if Kennedy endorses him.

Many conservatives are extending a warm welcome to Kennedy, in response to his decision.

Podcaster Benny Johnson: “Democrat party elite spent hundreds of millions on a 4 day propaganda convention. Leveraged every celebrity and musician they control. Donald Trump Jr. cheered, “RFK Jr endorses Trump!!! UNITY. Let’s Go!!!!”

“Free thinkers across America are uniting to stop Kamala Harris and her establishment puppet masters!!!” Trump Jr. added in another post.

Eric Trump wrote, “Robert F Kennedy Jr endorses Trump!!! RFK has been treated so horribly – I’m proud to fight this battle of censorship and corruption together… 🇺🇸🇺🇸”

Rep. Lauren Boeberg (R-Col.): “This 28 second clip of RFK Jr. discussing why he’s supporting and working with Trump has more policy in it than the entire week of DNC speeches.”

During his speech, Kennedy blasted Democrats for censoring free speech. Right on queue, CNN cut away and stopped airing Kennedy’s speech to their viewers, as he was exposing how the DNC rigged the primary by getting Biden to drop out and installing Harris without her having obtained a single vote.
