Many Democrats have fumed, ranted and raged over President Donald Trump holding a military parade on the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday. Trump’s own birthday just so happens to be on the same day, and liberals have repeatedly claimed the parade was to celebrate Trump’s birthday.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) sneered days earlier that he was praying for rain on the day of the parade.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) wildly claimed in a speech last Wednesday, “This Saturday, he’s ordering our American heroes, the United States military, and forcing them to put on a vulgar display to celebrate his birthday.”
However, Democrat Sen. John Fetterman (Penn.) had nothing but praise for the military parade.
Ahead of the parade Saturday, Fetterman wrote, “This parade is comprised of our sons, daughters, mothers and fathers—the very best of us. Regardless of your politics, it’s appropriate to celebrate the 250 years of sacrifice, dedication and service. 🇺🇸.”

In another post on Saturday, Fetterman wrote, “250 years of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, Personal Courage—and the world’s greatest soldiers. Happy Birthday, @USArmy! 🇺🇸”

Meanwhile, fitness trainer Jillian Michaels cleared up a few false claims the left has been pushing about the military parade. She wrote:
Lie #1 Trump is a dictator who held a military parade on his birthday. Fact Check: The US Army was in fact founded June 14th 1775. Coincidentally trump was born the same day.
Lie #2 This is funded with tax payer dollars. Fact Check: This vast majority of this was funded by America250 Foundation with sponsorships from major corporations including Oracle, Lockheed Martin, Palantir, and reportedly Amazon and Coinbase to name a few
Lie #3 Only Authoritarian regimes have military parades. Fact Check: Numerous democracies have military parades like… France, UK, Canada, Italy, Israel, Australia, South Korea… among numerous others

Earlier, on Friday, Michaels blasted X user Keith Edwards for being critical of the parade. Edwards had commented on a video of the Army soldiers practicing for the parade and snarked, “This isn’t North Korea. This is America. And it’s terrifying.”
Michaels responded, “Good Lord. Do you realize that less than 1% of Americans bear the weight of defending the freedoms the rest of us often take for granted? This parade is about honoring 250 years of men and women who’ve risked everything so you can live in a country where even calling them “terrifying” is your protected right. It’s a tribute to wounded warriors who came home forever changed, and to Gold Star families who carry an unimaginable grief — not for glory, but because someone they loved believed this country was worth dying for.”

Saturday morning, Geiger Capital reminded the fuming Democrats that former President John F. Kennedy held a military parade. He wrote:
Democrats are calling today’s 250th Army parade… “something out of North Korea”
This is why the Democrats are losing men.
There is no masculinity left in the party.
This was once the party of JFK.
Here was JFK’s inauguration parade:

From law professor Jonathan Turley: “As a military history nut, I am totally geeking out on the Army parade. They are showing the uniforms and equipment of every period from the original jeep to Huey helicopters.”
