SPECIAL REPORT: Conservative celebrities react to attempt on Trump’s life, rapper drops new song

A number of conservative actors and singers are posting statements on social media, in response the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Rapper Tom MacDonald wasted no time. He released a powerful new song Sunday morning blasting the left for the shooting attack on Trump.

The new song, titled, “You Missed,” has already gotten over 1 million views.

“Trump got shot…I fired back 🇺🇸,” McDonald declared while posting the video on X.

Actor Jon Voight, a conservative and a staunch Trump supporter, posted a 16-second video, in which he said simply, “They can’t take down the truth. President Trump won’t give up. He’ll keep rising, and help us to rise with him.”

Actress Kristy Swanson wrote, “A true warrior! I will continue to pray for President Trump, his safety, his family, the victims of yesterday’s tragedy, their families, and our entire Country 🇺🇸🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼.”

Actor James Wood has posted multiple statements. In one social media post, he warned, “We were two inches away from a civil war today. It is not a prospect I relish, but one that is to be feared if Democrats don’t stop with their absurd vile Hitler analogies and their assassination glee.”

In another post, Woods wrote:

In the midst of the chaos the leftist haters have injected into our beloved country, stand tall and cherish these words from the Father of our Nation:

“I was summoned by my country, whose voice I can never hear but with veneration and love.”

Actor Kevin Sorbo had just one word to describe Trump: “Unstoppable.”

Singer John Rich wrote:

“The angels of the Lord encamp around those who fear Him, and delivers them”. -Psalm 34:7

Somewhere, there’s an angel with a bullet hole through his wing. Thank you Lord for protecting DJT.

Actor and composer Ted Nugent wrote: “patriotic blood boils like never before in support of this great man to make America great again!”

In another post, Nugent shared a prayer:

Giver of Life, we bow our heads in prayer as we entrust the United States of America to your loving care. You are the rock on which this nation was founded. You alone are the true source of our cherished rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Reclaim this land for your glory and dwell among your people.

Send Your Spirit to touch the hearts of our nation’s leaders. Open their minds to the great worth of human life and the responsibilities that accompany human freedom. Remind Your people that true freedom can exist when we cast aside hate and find our commonalities rather than shame one another over our differences.

Actor Robert Davi wrote, “We need to have his Back !!!! No more weak GOP – time to speak out respectfully but Speak Out.”

Country singer Jason Aldean wrote on Instagram, “This is what a Warrior looks like! This is MY guy 🇺🇸. @realdonaldtrump we are thinking about u and praying for you and your family. God has a bigger plan for you my friend and I think we all know what that is by now. My heart goes out to the victims families as well. They are the ones left to pick up the pieces of this cowardly act.”

During a concert Saturday night, country legend George Strait paid tribute to law enforcement who come when they’re needed, and said, “Thank you for coming when we need you. We appreciate that very much, especially after today.”

The crowd began chanting, “USA! USA!”

Musician Kid Rock posted a video and declared, “You f– with Trump, you f— with me!” Watch below:

Actor Tim Robbins wrote in a social media post, “To anyone drawing a parallel between my film Bob Roberts and the attempted assassination of Trump, let’s be clear. What happened yesterday was a real attempt on a presidential candidate’s life. Those that are denying the assassination attempt was real are truly in a deranged mindset. A human being was shot yesterday. Another killed. They may not be human beings that you agree with politically but for shame folks. Get over your blind hatred of these people. They are fellow Americans. This collective hatred is killing our souls and consuming whatever is left of our humanity.”

Actress Roseanne Barr wrote, “Yes, it’s time to be loud and proud. The era of gaslighting us is over. We are better. We are good. We are right. They want us broke, cancelled, in jail or dead simply for loving this country and believing elections should be fair and transparent. If you’re ashamed to be on the right team, then you’re on the wrong team.”
