2) Fed’s Bowman Sees No Cuts This Year, Warns of Possible Rate Hike

From Breitbart: The biggest underpriced risk in the market is still a hike from the Federal Reserve. The federal funds futures market implies a near certainty that the Fed will cut interest rates by the end of the year, pricing in a 94 percent chance of at least one cut and a 65 percent chance of two cuts by the December meeting. There’s still a 66 percent chance implied of a September rate cut, despite the political explosion a cut on the eve of the election would ignite.

On Tuesday, Fed Governor Michelle Bowman attempted to throw some cold water on the fervor for rate cuts. 3) This 95-Year-Old Republican Billionaire Wants To Boot AOC From Congress

From Forbes: On Wednesday, thousands of people visiting New York City’s iconic Times Square laid eyes on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, whose face features prominently in three billboard ads that endorse Marty Dolan, a former Wall Street banker who is challenging AOC in a Democratic primary contest on June 25.

“Better start packing cuz Democrat Martin Dolan is comin’ a knockin’!” said one ad, which was launched on Wednesday. “Too bad you pushed out 25,000 Amazon jobs ‘cuz you’re about to need one!” said another, referencing the congresswoman’s opposition to Amazon’s scrapped plans to build a corporate campus in Queens. A third ad names “rising crime” and “illegal immigration chaos,” among other reasons, for voters to back Dolan (whose own face is absent from the ads).

4) Julian Assange pleads guilty to one felony count in plea deal

From Just The News: Wikileaks founder Julian Assange officially pleaded guilty on Tuesday to one count of conspiracy to obtain and disclose national defense information, in exchange for not serving any prison time in the United States.

Assange entered the plea at a court in Northern Mariana Islands, and is expected to be transported to Australia after his sentencing, per NBC News. From Fox News: Eight months after Matthew Perry died from the “acute effects of ketamine,” authorities reportedly believe “multiple people” should be charged for his untimely death.

7) Judge arrested at Atlanta nightclub removed from office for ‘judicial misconduct’

From Fox News: An Atlanta judge, who was recently arrested for allegedly hitting a police officer outside an Atlanta nightclub, should be removed from office after an ongoing investigation into separate ethics charges, the Georgia Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday.

Douglas County Probate Judge Christina Peterson, 38, was removed from the bench effective Tuesday. The Georgia Supreme Court ruling comes after the Judicial Qualifications Commission found Peterson guilty of “systemic incompetence” and recommended her removal in April. 8) Utah father of 6 kills wife in murder-suicide after cryptic Facebook post

From Fox News: A seemingly successful Utah couple with six children was found dead last week from an apparent murder-suicide that has stunned their community, according to local reports.

Businessman Olin Johnson, 57, killed his wife Kerilyn Johnson, 52, inside their upscale American Fork home near Provo on June 20, police said in a statement to KSL.

There were no signs of a struggle, and police said Johnson had shot her twice before turning the gun on himself. He owned Simtek Modular, LLC, which erects structures for law enforcement training, according to his LinkedIn profile. 10) Chaos in Kenya: TikTok-Fueled Protests Turn Deadly as Protesters Storm Parliament, Police Tear-Gas Cathedral & Obama’s sister

From Breitbart: At least five people were killed and 30 wounded in Kenya on Tuesday when anti-tax protesters attempted to storm Parliament and police responded by firing live ammunition.

Kenyans have been protesting for weeks against a proposed finance bill packed with tax increases, including taxes on everything from bread to car insurance. Some of the more onerous provisions of the bill were dropped amid the protests, but President William Ruto insisted major tax increases were still necessary to balance the budget, while protesters vowed to keep marching until the entire bill was withdrawn. Chaos erupted in Nairobi on Tuesday as lawmakers voted to pass the finance bill.
