Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is on the war path against President Donald Trump over his efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war, and conservatives are firing back.
Saturday morning Pelosi condemned Trump for meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
In a post on X, she sneered, “We prayed for peace but instead got praise for Putin. For the unjustified curtesies extended to him by Trump in Alaska yesterday, the thug should immediately return the tens of thousands of children he kidnapped from Ukraine and stop the raping of women as a weapon of war.”

Conservatives are ripping Pelosi to shreds over her statement.
Matt Van Swol, a former nuclear scientist for the Department of Energy, wrote, “What are you even talking about?!!!! Absolutely zero people were praising Putin yesterday. In fact, what I saw was a bad ass move by my president, flying B2, bombers, and F-16’s right over the president of Russia’s head. That’s the America I know in love… sit down, Nancy.”

The fieriest takedown of all came from journalist Miranda Devine, who wrote, “You didn’t pray for peace, you blasphemous, abortion-loving fake Catholic. You rooted for the Devil.
