A shocking video went viral on social media Saturday night, which showed multiple police officers literally beating up two fans at Florida v. Georgia football game in Jacksonville.
In the video, one Black officer is seen repeatedly punching an elderly White man in the head, as a woman screams, “Why are you punching him?”
Another officer has a man down on the floor, and is also punching him in the head. The man is seen trying to cover his head with his hands as the blows keep coming.
And a third officer is standing over a man who is sprawled out on his back across the seats.
It is unclear what happened that caused the violent confrontations.
As of Saturday night, the video already had over 7 million views, and social media users are reacting with shock and outrage.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office released the following statement:
“The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office’s Professional Standards Division is aware of the videos circulating from the Georgia-Florida football game. Administrative reviews of the incidents are being opened. As such, the agency will not comment until all facts are known and the reviews have been completed.”
