After Cracker Barrel revamped their logo, erasing from their store signs the beloved ‘Uncle Herschel’ figure who was leaning against an old barrel, customers have reacted in fury and launched a boycott of the store.
The man on the logo represented Uncle Herschel, the real-life uncle of Cracker Barrel’s founder, Dan Evins. According to a tribute on the company’s website, Herschel was the person responsible for the beloved “country store” design that made the restaurant such a success.
President Donald Trump released a statement on Truth Social, saying Cracker Barrel should admit their mistake and put the old logo back on their signs.
Now the Trump White House is trolling Cracker Barrel with a remake of the logo – featuring President Trump.
In the White House design, Trump is leaning against the barrel, and the sign reads, “America First.”
