SEE IT: Trump torches CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins in brutal Oval Office exchange

CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins was dealt a crushing blow by President Donald Trump Tuesday afternoon.

Collins was with a group of reporters in the Oval Office who were questioning the president after he signed the funding bill to end the partial government shutdown.

As reporters were asking questions, the topic of the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein came up. Trump noted that a lot of Democrats were mentioned in the newly-released batch of files on Epstein, and said it’s a Democrat problem, but we need to get back to discussing more important issues.

Collins started peppering Trump with questions about Epstein, and said, “On the Epstein files, you talked about Democrats in there… Elon Musk was also in there, and so was your Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. Did you read those new files that were released by the Justice Department?”

Trump said no, he had not read them, but said of the two names, “I’m sure they’re fine, or there would have been major headlines.”

Collins kept pushing, saying some of the Epstein victims are unhappy that there are so many redactions in the files.

“I think it’s time for the country to get on to something else,” Trump said.

Collins pushed back again, saying, “What would you say to people who feel they haven’t gotten justice?”

At that point, Trump lost his patience entirely.

“You are so bad, you are the worst reporter, CNN has no ratings because of people like you. I’ve known you for 10 years, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a smile on your face. You know why you’re not smiling? Because you know you’re not telling the truth. You’re a very dishonest disorganization. They should be ashamed of you,” Trump told Collins in a scorching rebuke.
