One day after Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced she will not be seeking re-election next year, President Donald Trump posted a blistering statement on Truth Social.
Pelosi, 85, has literally spent decades in Congress, having been in the House of Representatives since 1987. She is currently in the middle of her 20th term, but finally announced her plans to retire on Thursday.
Pelosi has made no secret of her hatred toward Trump since he won the presidency the first time in the 2016 election, and has fought his policies every step of the way. This week, she called him “vile,” and Trump flipped it around, calling her “evil.”
Friday morning, Trump blasted out the following statement: “Nancy Pelosi, the old and broken political hack who Impeached me twice and lost, is finally calling it “quits.” She illegally made a fortune in the Stock Market, ripped off the American Public, and was a disaster for America. I’m glad to see the stench of Nancy Pelosi go!!!”
