After yet another assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump, the Republican nominee, at a golf course on Sunday, attention is being drawn to an eerie TIME magazine cover photo, just days earlier.

Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was arrested Sunday after he was caught pointing his AK-47 through a chain-link fence one hole ahead of where Trump was playing golf at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Just four days earlier, on September 11, TIME Magazine had published a cover photo of Trump stuck on the golf course, along with the caption, “In Trouble.”

TIME still has the image pinned to the top of their X/Twitter page.

Another TIME magazine cover from August 2018 is even worse. It features then-President Trump in the “drowning” in the Oval Office, and again includes the caption, “In trouble.”

“Trump is in trouble. Here’s how much worse it could get,” TIME writes.

Social media users are blasting TIME over the September 11 cover photo, with many saying it appears to be suggesting “trouble.”

Investigative journalist Laura Loomer wrote, “Coincidence? Or coordination? On 9/11, @Time Magazine posted this cover of their paper for this month. It’s a photo of Donald Trump on the golf course with the words “In Trouble”. Did they have advance knowledge of the attempted assassination of President Trump today at his golf club in West Palm Beach FL!?!”
