Former Secretary of State and defeated 2016 Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton posted glowing praise for Democrat Sen. Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, in response to his meeting in El Salvador with deported illegal alien and alleged MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

Abrego Garcia, 29, from El Salvador, snuck into the United States illegally on or about March 25, 2012, when he was 16 years old. About five years after arriving in the U.S., Abrego Garcia reportedly met Jennifer Vasquez Sura, a U.S. citizen, whom he later married. They have a 5-year-old child, and she has two older children.

Police found him loitering in a Home Depot parking lot in Hyattsville, Maryland on March 28, 2019, with three other MS-13 gang members.  A police report on the incident includes all the reasons Abrego Garcia was confirmed to be an MS-13 member.  In 2021, Abrego Garcia’s wife filed domestic abuse allegations against him. In yet another incident in December 2022, police suspected Abrego Garcia of human trafficking.

Abrego Garcia was arrested by immigration agents last month, and deported to El Salvador on flights with about 260 other violent illegal alien gang members. Democrats are now going to great lengths to try to get him back, and Sen. Van Hollen traveled to El Salvador this week, claiming Abrego Garcia was “illegally abducted and is being held in a notorious prison in El Salvador.”

However, anyone reading Hillary Clinton’s comment on Friday without knowing the backstory could be led to [falsely] assume Abrego Garcia is an American citizen.

“Thank you, Sen. Van Hollen, for standing up not just for Kilmar Abrego Garcia but for every American who believes in due process,” Clinton wrote in gushing praise for the Democrat senator.

“We can’t stop speaking out until he’s home and this administration stops its horrific practice of kidnapping people without charge or trial,” she added.

Clinton’s comments are a FAR CRY from what she said in 2008 when she was running for president in the Democratic primary election.

“I think we’ve got to have tough conditions. Tell people to come out of the shadows. If they’ve committed a crime, deport them, no questions asked, they’re gone!” she declared.

“If they’ve been working and are law-abiding, we should say ‘here are the conditions for you staying: You have to pay a stiff fine because you came here illegally, you have to pay back-taxes, and you have to try to learn English, and you have to wait in line!” she added.
