Democrat vice-presidential nominee Tim Walz, currently the governor of Minnesota, has just been dealt another blow by his own family, as they’ve just confirmed their support for Republican nominee, former President Donald Trump.
This comes after Tim Walz’s brother, Jeff Walz, who lives in Florida, confirmed on Facebook that he is considering contacting the Trump campaign to publicly endorse Trump. Jeff Walz lives in Florida, and warned in his Facebook comments that his brother is “not the type of character you want making decisions about your future.”
Tim Walz grew up in Nebraska, and still has family there, including a sister.
A photo was just released Wednesday morning, and is going viral, of multiple Walz family members standing with a Trump flag and wearing matching shirts that read, “Nebraska Walz’s For Trump.”
The photo is being shared by many people on social media, but the Daily Mail explained that the photo was originally posted by former Nebraska GOP gubernatorial candidate Charles W. Herbster.
A representative for Herbster told DailyMail.com that the people in the photo are related to Walz through his grandfather’s brother.
Tagging Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance, Herbster wrote, “Tim Walz’s family back in Nebraska wants you to know something…”

On the flip side, but in a similar situation, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s family, who are longtime Democrats, have blasted him for siding with Trump, and have vowed they are voting for Kamala Harris.
