SEE IT: Giuliani slams Mamdani over garbage and snow left in the streets

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, a Republican who was mayor of America’s largest city from 1994 to 2001, has commented on the appalling mess the city is now in, under the leadership of Democrat Socialist Zohran Mamdani.

Giuliani responded to a video posted on X by journalist George Colli, showing mounds of dirty snow and piles of garbage left in the streets, 10 days after a major snow storm.

“As mayor—during storms—New Yorkers knew the streets would be plowed, trash would be picked up, and the vulnerable would be protected. We cleaned up snow so fast people complained they didn’t even get a day off work! Compare that to now, 10 days after a storm…” Giuliani wrote.

Collli responded, “Thanks for the repost Mayor @RudyGiuliani. I thought of you and how it would be different when I was walking around the city seeing this mess.”

“Keep up the great reporting, George!” Giuliani replied.

DMLNewsApp founder Dennis Michael Lynch also commented on the video, writing, “The Mamdani plan: make life so unbearable for normal people that they leave NYC. Then import my dirty slime from the areas where dirty slime are born.”

Last week, actress Debra Messing also blasted the mess. Messing is a staunch supporter of Israel, and did not support Mamdani as mayor.

“Sitting in a taxi trying to get to an appointment. Should take 20 minutes, we are at an hour and ten minutes and counting. The streets are a disaster. It hasn’t snowed in 5 days and the streets still haven’t been cleared. Poor ambulance sitting in aessentially a parking lot with sirens going. I’m praying for the person needing emergency care,” she wrote.

“I’ve lived here for 15 years (this go around) and this has never happened. The plows have always worked around the clock to get the city back to working. I wonder what happened? 😏 Hang in there, New Yorkers,” she added.
