From the New York Post: A Florida man has been forced to shoot down the latest Jeffrey Epstein conspiracy — after becoming “a viral sensation” for being the spitting image of the notorious sex trafficker.
The silver-haired, square-jawed stranger found himself unexpectedly going viral after someone filmed him driving his convertible down a highway in the Sunshine State, suggesting he was the pedophile who had a Florida home and who many conspiracy theorists refuse to believe is dead.
“Epstein is alive! Epstein is alive!” the man who shot the video yelled, sending social media into meltdown.
The driver later addressed how his phone started “blowing up” after “some dude randomly filmed me while I was driving on I-95, unbeknownst to me.
“And the next thing I know, I’m a viral sensation,” the man said, adding, “I’m not Jeffrey Epstein. I’m Palm Beach Pete!”
The Daily Brief Global posted the first video, as the person filmed “Pete” driving down the highway, and wrote:
A viral video showing an older man driving a silver convertible on a Florida highway sparked conspiracy theories online, with some claiming he looked like Jeffrey Epstein.
The clip was first posted on March 12, 2026 by TikTok user Andrew Posey (@amposey27), a Florida-based mechanic who often shares car videos. He uploaded the short dashcam clip with the caption “Oh h3ll no,” reacting to the driver who had his feet propped up while driving.
The video later spread on TikTok and X (Twitter) on March 13, where users started claiming the driver looked like Epstein. The clip quickly gained millions of views.
However, there is no evidence the man in the video is actually Epstein, who officially died in 2019.

“Hello I am Palm Beach Pete… Not Jeffrey Epstein,” he announced on Thursday.

Friday morning, he posted a new video and confirmed that he is Peter from Palm Beach, Florida, and he’s NOT Jeffrey Epstein.
He condemned Epstein’s criminal activities, and said, “He’s a very a bad person, and he’s dead, and I’m alive.”
