The Mayor of El Cajon, California, Bill Wells, recently disclosed that over 250,000 undocumented immigrants have arrived in San Diego County over the past 10 months.
These individuals receive free healthcare, access to gender-affirming surgeries, free college tuition, and assistance with a 20% down payment on home loans.
According to Mayor Wells: “The County of San Diego already spent $6 million on a migrant welcome center… they’ve just allocated another $19 million for that.”
