REVEALED: Who is responsible for the wild, Trump-trolling posts on Newsom’s X account

From Breitbart: Meet Izzy Gardon — the press flack behind the “@GovPressOffice” account that has begun imitating and mocking President Donald Trump, with the state still needing $40 billion in federal aid for fire victims.

Gardon, who lists his term as “student body president” in high school on his LinkedIn profile (along with numerous social media jobs in politics), confirms on X that he is responsible for “bad work related tweets” associated with @GovPressOffice.

His official title is Director of Communications for Governor Gavin Newsom — meaning that he is responsible for the @GovPressOffice account, which is the official, state-owned account for the governor’s press office.

(Another press official, Camille Zapata, is Newsom’s digital director, but helps manage other accounts.)

The wild, all-caps posts started about 10 days ago, mocking President Trump and mimicking the president’s sometimes all-caps style, but with a crazed, liberal tone.

It was first believed that Newsom himself was responsible for the posts, but now it is confirmed that he is not. Instead, Gardon is at least one of the culprits behind the wild posts, and it appears all professional protocol has been thrown to the wind.

On Gardon’s personal X account, an image describes him as “A gay guy whose job is to defend Gavin Newsom.”

X user End Wokeness posted photos of Gardon and Zapata and announced, “Gov. Gavin Newsom’s tweets are written by these two.”

Gardon fired back, “FAKE NEWS! There’s a whole team of pros behind this, all taking our direction directly from the Governor. And for the record, so we’re all clear: great tweets = from the Governor, flop tweets = created by the clueless intern.”

In one clueless tirade, Newsom’s Press account pushed out false information about the illegal alien truck driver, who was given a commercial driver’s license in California and recently caused a horrific crash in Florida that killed 3 innocent Americans.  Newsom’s team tried to blame it all on the Trump administration, and DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin had to set them straight.

Gardon is also mocking Fox News host Dana Perino for believing that Newsom is responsible for the crazy posts:

Perino point out on Monday that Newsom is “making a fool of himself” with the posts.

“ALMOST A WEEK IN AND THEY STILL DON’T GET IT,” Gardon mocked.

In another post Tuesday morning, he added: “DANA “DING DONG” PERINO (NEVER HEARD OF HER UNTIL TODAY!) IS MELTING DOWN BECAUSE OF ME, GAVIN C. NEWSOM! FOX HATES THAT I AM AMERICA’S MOST FAVORITE GOVERNOR (“RATINGS KING”) SAVING AMERICA — WHILE TRUMP CAN’T EVEN CONQUER THE “BIG” STAIRS ON AIR FORCE ONE ANYMORE!!! TRUMP HAS “LOST HIS STEP” AND FOX IS LOSING IT BECAUSE WHEN I TYPE, AMERICA NOW WINS!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER. — GCN.”

On his own X account, Gardon mocked last week, “When the PRESIDENT’S press team is spending their whole day talking about a GOVERNOR’S social media posts, Newsom is not in their head “rent free” — he OWNS the penthouse, the parking garage, and the naming rights. Total domination!!!”
