From the Washington Examiner: President Donald Trump is slated to hold a rally in Macomb County, Michigan, next Tuesday to celebrate his first 100 days in office.

This will be Trump’s first time visiting the state since he won it in the 2024 election. His first 100 days in office will fall on April 30.

“President Trump is excited to return to the great state of Michigan, where he will rally in Macomb County to celebrate his first 100 days in office,” said White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt in a statement Wednesday. “Michiganders are benefiting from President Trump’s agenda to revitalize our American economy and secure the southern border, and the best is yet to come!”

Trump last held a rally in Macomb County, Michigan on November 1, just five days before Election Day.

Rep. John James (R-Mich.) also announced on X, “Macomb County is honored to welcome President @realDonaldTrump back to MICHIGAN to celebrate the first 100 days of America’s New Golden Age. Together, we will Make Michigan Great Again. 🇺🇸”

Former Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) also wrote, “Michigan delivered a huge win for President Trump on election night, and we look forward to welcoming him back to celebrate the first 100 days of this administration! Macomb County is Trump Country!!”

Trump held multiple rallies in the battleground state during his presidential campaign last year, including one on April 2 in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he was welcomed by thousands of supporters lining the streets, waving American flags.
