From Fox Business: In the reclusive and expensive Palm Beach, Florida, one mysterious buyer is reportedly on a mission to acquire hundreds of millions of dollars worth of real estate for what could be America’s priciest “billionaire bunker.”

“This kind of assemblage, it just signals bigger things for South Florida,” OneWorld Properties CEO Peggy Olin told Fox News Digital in reaction.

“We’re going to continue seeing these types of high-net-worth individuals just continuing to make South Florida just extremely elite and a safe place for all of them to gather,” she continued. “It’s the connectivity.”

At the end of June, The Wall Street Journal published an exclusive report that an unidentified buyer had spent around $250 million on four separate properties just north of President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago.

The Wall Street Journal report noted that the mystery buyer has snatched up four properties and is looking to buy more.  The buy also appears to be willing to pay any price, and is paying way above market value.

In February of this year, the secret buyer purchased two oceanfront lots previously owned by billionaire cosmetics heir William Lauder, who had listed the lots for a combined $200 million in 2023.  It is unknown what the mystery buyer actually paid.

In early June, the same buyer paid $18 million for a Mediterranean-style house across the street, which the seller, retired attorney Thomas Harvey, had previously bought for $4.15 million in 2018.

Then, in late June, the same mystery buyer purchased a property next door to the Harvey house for $30 million, which had last sold for around $5.25 million in 2017.

However, rock star Jon Bon Jovi, who lives next door to the former Lauder property, has reportedly resisted efforts from the mystery buyer to sell his property.
