REPORT: Schumer blasted with mockery after he reveals Dem counter-offensive against Trump’s DOGE audit

Democrats now claim they’re interested in fighting corruption and abuse within the government… and they’re getting laughed off the planet. Read below….

From Fox News: Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., unveiled on Monday the Democrats’ counter-offensive plan against the broad government audit being conducted by President Donald Trump’s temporary agency, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

“Senate Democrats have a responsibility to fight back on behalf of American families as Republicans look the other way in obedience to Donald Trump. And we are,” he wrote to members of the Senate Democratic Caucus in a letter.

The Democratic leader explained that the plan to fight DOGE, headed by Trump-aligned billionaire and special government employee Elon Musk, is four-pronged. Schumer said that Democrats will take on the audit through Oversight, Litigation, Legislation and Communication & Mobilization.

According to Schumer, Democrats have begun conducting oversight by sending “hundreds” of inquiries.

Schumer announced on social media that he has set up a new portal for whistleblowers to report corruption and abuse.

“Today, I’m calling on our brave public servants: I’m launching a new portal for anyone who wants to expose corruption, abuses of power, and threats to public safety with the legal protections of being a whistleblower,” Schumer announced.

In another post, he added, “To our brave public servants: Your courage in stepping forward as whistleblowers to expose corruption and misconduct is essential to preserving the integrity of our democratic institutions.”

Sen. Gary Peters (D-Mich.) is also heading up the ‘whistleblower’ portal with Schumer.

“Whistleblowers are the backbone of government oversight and accountability. That’s why I led @SenateDems to launch a new portal to make it easier for federal employees to disclose wrongdoing that they’ve witnessed,” Peters touted.

Schumer’s call for whistleblowers is being met with widespread mockery.

Elon Musk wrote, “Look into this Schumer guy, he’s definitely done crime!”

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) pounced on Schumer’s post, writing,

And the entire corrupt Democrat party that weaponized & abused the federal government for the past four years.

Filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza wrote, “It is the job of our elected leaders to protect the American people from the abuses and corruption of an intrusive government.

“Schumer on the other hand wants to protect the abuses and corruption of the government from the intrusion of the American people.”

“I’d like to report Chuck Schumer for threatening sitting Supreme Court Justices. It’s all on video,” wrote Gunther Eagleman.

Mollie Hemingway of The Federalist posted a photo of the complaint she just filed against Schumer, for threatening Justice Kavanaugh.
