From The Hill: The United Kingdom’s far-right political activist Tommy Robinson completed a tour at the State Department on Wednesday after meeting with one of Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s senior advisers.

A State Department spokesperson told The Hill that the anti-immigration advocate was there in an “unofficial capacity” for a tour.

Robinson toured the department’s diplomatic reception room among other spaces at the invitation of senior adviser Joe Rittenhouse.

Robinson posted a photo Wednesday morning and wrote, “In America making alliances & friendships , today I had the privilege of an invite to the @StateDept.”

Rittenhouse also shared photos on X and wrote, “Honored to have free speech warrior @TRobinsonNewEra at Department of State today. The World and the West is a better place when we fight for freedom of speech and no one has been on the front lines more than Tommy. Good to see you my friend!”

The media continues to label Robinson as “far-right,” including The Hill.

“I’m not far right, I’m not far wrong either,” Robinson quipped, in reaction to The Hill’s headline about him.

He posted a video on X, as he received a phone call from a reporter at The Telegraph.

Robinson announced on February 14 that he was being forced to leave Britain “indefinitely” over an ISIS threat.  He is currently in the United States.

“Exiled! I’ve Been Forced To Leave the UK After ISIS Threat!!” Robinson announced.

“Following intelligence that my name appears in an ISIS linked publication, described as the group’s equivalent to Al-Qaeda’s Inspire magazine, I’ve been forced to leave the United Kingdom indefinitely. Fears for my family’s safety and the risk of being targeted by extremists, remaining in the UK would endanger me, those around me,” he explained.
