From NY PostA Rockland County postal worker was arrested for allegedly violently shoving a 4-year-old Jewish boy to the ground in a shocking caught-on-camera attack.

Horrifying security footage obtained by The Monsey Scoop captured the young boy approaching a parked mail truck when the ruthless 39-year-old USPS carrier suddenly turned and aggressively pushed him onto the sidewalk of a Ramapo neighborhood Thursday night.

The callous worker returned to his truck as the small child, knocked onto his back, got up and retrieved his yarmulke that had flown off his head during the violent outburst before walking away, the video showed.

The unidentified Stony Point man was arrested and charged with endangering a child and attempted assault after allegedly attacking the youngster.

The incident outraged the local Hasidic and Orthodox Jewish community.

“I have viewed the video depicting an incident involving a physical attack on a small child,” Ramapo Town Supervisor Michael Specht wrote on X Friday afternoon. “The content of this video is very disturbing. Ramapo Police have treated this matter with extreme seriousness and have now arrested the suspect.”

State Senator Bill Weber called for the suspect to face legal consequences.

“I’ve heard from constituents who are deeply alarmed by the assault of a young child in the @TownOfRamapo. I share their concern and outrage,” he wrote on X after the irate man was arrested. “He must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!”
