In two separate incidents just over two months apart, illegal alien truck drivers from India have caused deadly crashes on America’s highways – one in Florida and one in California.
In each case, 3 innocent people were killed. And in each case, the drivers obtained their Commercial Driver’s License from the state of California. And in each case, the illegal alien driver’s last name is “Singh.”
On Tuesday of this week, Oct. 21, Jashanpreet Singh, a 21-year-old Indian national in the U.S. illegally, plowed into multiple cars on a California freeway when traffic was slowed to a crawl. Three people were killed, and another four were injured.
Singh reportedly crossed the border into the U.S. illegally in March 2022 and was released into the U.S. by the Biden administration with a future immigration court date.

California Governor Gavin Newsom’s office released a defiant statement, casting blame on the Biden administration while also slamming the Trump administration, and taking no accountability for having give an illegal alien a CDL.
The statement reads:
“This is a tragic situation. And as with every tragedy over teh last ten months, Secretary Noem has ordered Secretary Duffy to look for every opportunity to manipulate the facts to score cheap political points, but the FEDERAL government needs to look within before they cast blame outside.
“The FEDERAL government approved and renewed this individual’s FEDERAL employment authorization multiple times – which allowed him to obtain a commercial driver’s license in accordance with FEDERAL law.”
BREAKING: An official with the California State Transportation Agency tells me that Singh’s California CDL is a federal REAL ID, and that:
“California followed all federal and state laws in reviewing and granting Mr. Jashanpreet Singh a California commercial driver’s license.”

CASE #2: The deadly crash is similar to another incident that happened in Florida on August 12, when another illegal alien truck driver from India, Harjinder Singh, 28, made an unlawful U-turn right in the middle of a Florida turnpike, blocking the highway and causing a horrifying crash that killed three innocent people. Singh had a commercial driver’s license, which he had also obtained in California. He had illegally crossed the border from Mexico into the U.S. in 2018.
Fox News reporter Bill Melugin provided the following bombshell update on this case on Thursday:
BREAKING: A senior official in the FL AG’s office tells me initial results of their investigation into Harjinder Singh, the Indian illegal alien truck driver charged w/ killing 3 people in a crash in FL in August, reveal Singh failed his CDL test 10 times in a 2-month window between 3/10/2023 and 5/5/2023 in the state of Washington.
Additionally, I’m told Singh also failed his air breaks knowledge test twice, and that the Washington company that provided Singh’s behind the wheel CDL training attested he could speak English proficiently, when he couldn’t.
The FL AG investigation is ongoing and I’m told there’s more to come.
The FL AG’s office also sued California and Washington via SCOTUS last week, asking SCOTUS to prevent both states from issuing CDLs to illegal immigrants, and accusing both states of not complying with federal safety and immigration status requirements when issuing CDLs.
Ultimately, the state of Washington gave Singh a CDL first, then the state of California also gave him a CDL.
