MSNBC temporarily took ‘Morning Joe’ off the air following the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Trump was speaking at the rally when he was struck in the ear by gunfire, prompting Secret Service agents to quickly rush him off the stage. The incident left Trump with a bloodied face and resulted in the death of one rally attendee and critical injuries to two others.

The shooter, identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, was immediately killed by Secret Service agents.

In light of these events, MSNBC decided to suspend ‘Morning Joe’ to avoid any potentially inappropriate comments on the show, which is known for its critical stance towards Trump. The network aimed to ensure that discussions about the incident were handled with the appropriate sensitivity. The show is expected to resume on Tuesday.
