From the New York Post: Former California first lady Maria Shriver is the latest to blame the current Democratic leadership of Los Angeles for the deadly wildfires posing a historic threat to the region.
“LA cannot go forward with the status quo. LA is no longer what it was. It has to be different,” the ex-wife of former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger wrote Sunday.
“It has to prioritize the safety of its citizens, police, fire, schools,” Shriver, 69, tweeted on Sunday. “LA residents deserve better.”
Shriver’s post was a response to a tweet highlighting how Los Angeles fire chief Kristin Crowley openly criticized Democratic Mayor Karen Bass for leaving her department “understaffed, underfunded and under-resourced” when the wildfires hit.
“Let me be clear. The $17M budget cut and elimination of our civilian positions like our mechanics did and has and will continue to severely impact our ability to repair our apparatus,” Crowley said.
“Over the last 3 years, we have been clear that the fire department needs help. We can no longer sustain where we are… I have also requested multiple interim budgets… to show how understaffed, under-resourced, and underfunded the LAFD is,” Crowley also told CNN’s Jake Tapper.

Responding to the video, Shriver wrote, “LA cannot go forward with the status quo. LA is no longer what it was. It has to be different. It has to prioritize the safety of its citizens, police, fire, schools. LA residents deserve better.
“Chief Crowley is saying LA cannot sustain itself. It needs more help. Chief Crowley says she rang the bell. The mayoral race presented a clear choice last time around. Moving forward, LA residents have to decide what’s important and what’s not. Right now what’s important is getting this fire under control, getting firefighters the support they need, getting our neighbors the support they need. Once that happens it’s time to rethink what is and imagine what can be.”

Many social media users are reminder Shriver that it’s people like her who voted Democrat that caused the whole mess.
It’s the voting of people like you who has created this disaster.

You want different. Stop voting Democrat.

Stop voting for radical left progressives

YOU caused this with your votes for woke DEI imbeciles.
Go look in the mirror.

You are 100% correct, and actions speak louder than words. Publicly condemn Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass for their complete negligence and failure and call for their immediate resignation. And if they don’t resign, publicly announce that you will do whatever it takes to ensure…
