From Fox News: A Florida beach house, dubbed the “Trump house,” has taken TikTok by storm for its eye-catching décor.
Marvin Peavy’s Walton County home sits on Florida’s Scenic Highway 30A in the northwestern part of the Sunshine State, which has been dubbed the “Hamptons of the South.”
Peavy stepped into the spotlight over a legal dispute with local officials after he hung large pro-Trump banners on his home.
His TikTok account shows various banners he has installed, amassing millions of views and thousands of followers.
Peavy hung his first banner in support of Donald Trump in 2020. That started a battle over his free speech rights, as the county demanded he take it down. In 2021, he was slapped with a fine of $50 per day if he did not remove the signs. But Peavy wouldn’t budge.
He just won the fight in March, as a judge ruled that the fines were unconstitutional, and ordered the county to pay Peavy’s legal fees, which amounted to $42,000.
Over the years, he has hung about 30 different banners, all with patriotic messages, and in support of President Trump. Some of the messages on the banners include:
- Bulletproof
- Who’s your Daddy?
- Trump coming home 2025
- Welcome to the Gulf of America
In the TikTok video the day after Trump won the 2024 election, Peavy stands out in front of his home with the banners of Trump and does the “Trump dance.” It has gotten 1.7 million views.
