REPORT: Legendary American car company announces it’s scrapping ‘woke’ policies

From Fox Business: Ford Motor Company is backing away from some of its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, becoming the latest American firm to pump the brakes on “woke” policies this year and joining the likes of John Deere, Lowe’s and Tractor Supply.

Anti-woke activist and filmmaker Robby Starbuck, who has been leading a campaign exposing major corporations’ woke policies, reported on X on Wednesday that he was in the middle of an investigation of Ford when the company sent him documentation indicating that it had made some changes.

Starbuck posted a letter from Ford CEO Jim Farley to employees, where the chief executive stated that “the external and legal environment related to political and social issues continues to evolve,” and thus in the past year, the company has “taken a fresh look at our policies and practices.”

In the letter, Farley laid out a series of bullet points, telling the Ford workforce that the company does not utilize quotas in hiring, and saying that it prioritizes its resources for business purposes “versus publicly commenting on the many polarizing issues of the day.” Farley said that the company has “evolved” its Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), noting that all its ERGs are open to all employees.

“Here is @Ford’s full statement I received this morning. Sanity is coming for corporate America,” Starbuck cheered.

Starbuck announced:

Big news: We were in the middle of investigating woke policies @Ford but this morning Ford confirmed to me that they’re making changes. Here are the changes:

• Ending participation in the @HRC’s woke Corporate Equality Index social credit system.

• It sounds like there will be no more donations to pride events or other divisive events.

• ERG groups must be focused on business.

• No supplier or dealership diversity quotas.

• CEO calls for respect and civility toward all ideologies, hints at merit based approach.

This isn’t everything we want but it’s a great start. We’re now forcing multi-billion dollar organizations to change their policies without even posting just from fear they have of being the next company that we expose. We will continue to communicate with our sources in companies we expose and report on any that step out of line. I can promise that if we have to do a second report, it will be much more aggressive.

We are winning and one by one we WILL bring sanity back to corporate America.

So far you’ve helped me change corporate policy at Tractor Supply, John Deere, Harley Davidson, Polaris, Indian Motorcycle, Lowe’s and now Ford. We are a force to be reckoned with.

HRC, an LGBTQ civil rights rights organization, is having a meltdown.

“Today, @Ford ABANDONED its values and commitments to an inclusive workplace, cowering to MAGA weirdo Robby Starbuck. With the LGBTQ+ community wielding $1.4 TRILLION in spending power and 30% of Gen Z identifying as LGBTQ+, we won’t forget this shortsighted decision and its impact,” HRC fumed.
