From NY Post: Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Manhattan trial took a dramatic turn Thursday when a federal judge shockingly threatened to throw him out of the courtroom for repeatedly nodding at jurors.
The startling moment unfolded after the jury went out for their lunch break — with Judge Arun Subramanian scolding Combs for “looking at jurors and nodding vigorously” at least twice during testimony.
The judge warned Combs and his defense attorney, Marc Agnifilo, that if the Bad Boys Records founder was caught doing it again, Subramanian would consider a last-resort measure of having him tossed from the courtroom.
“I looked and I saw your client looking at the jury and nodding vigorously, ”Subramanian told the defense team. “It is absolutely unacceptable.”
“It cannot happen again,” he added.
The head movements occurred during the testimony of Bryana “Bana” Bongolan, who is Combs‘ ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura‘s friend. He was eyeing jurors while Bongolan was being questioned by his attorneys.
Bongolan claims Combs, 55, was physically abusive, alleging that he dangled from a 17-story balcony and tossed her on furniture at in September 2016.
Combs faces up to life in prison if convicted.
