REPORT: Internet goes nuts over Gavin Newsom’s odd sitting pose

10

From the New York Post: The internet had a ball Thursday mocking California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s weirdly tense “testicle-crushing” style of cross-legged sitting at a speaking engagement.

The 58-year-old pol was discussing National Guard policies at the New York Times Dealbook Summit when he struck a pose that made him the butt of a joke on social media.

Newsom himself posted a video as he is sitting in the weird pose. In the video, he is raging against President Donald Trump for sending in the National Guard to control the chaos in California.

But social media users pounced on the video to rage against Newsom’s radical policies, and to mock his sitting pose.

The mockery is exploding on social media:

“If your legs were crossed any further you’d be a pretzel,” mocked on X user.

“Serious question: what kind of man sits like that? Or even has the ability to sit like that comfortably?” asked Jay Town, an attorney.
