From Fox News: U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Boston announced on Wednesday the arrests of two illegal immigrants who have been charged with forcibly raping children in Massachusetts, as well as a third individual who was convicted of raping a child in Brazil, and was hiding in the U.S. after being caught and released at the U.S. border in 2022.

The arrests come after Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey said her state would not cooperate with President-elect Trump’s federal immigration enforcement efforts once he returns to the Oval Office in January.

Below are just some of illegal alien criminals recently arrested in Massachusetts:

Mynor Stiven De Paz-Munoz, 21, from Guatemala: Arrested by Great Barrington Police Department on Feb. 29, 2024, for “rape of a child by force, rape of a child, and indecent assault and battery on person 14 or older. ”

ICE filed a detainer on De Paz-Munoz, but the detainer was ignored and he was released on bond. ICE finally took him into custody on Nov. 12 in Great Barrington.

De Paz-Munoz had illegally crossed the US border on Sept. 24, 2020 (during the Trump administration) and was released by the Border Patrol with a notice to appear.

Billy Erney Buitrago-Bustos, 42, from Columbia: Arrested Oct. 8, 2023, for rape of a child by force, statutory rape, and aggravated rape. He was turned over to ICE on Nov. 15 in Pittsfield, Mass.

Buitrago-Bustos entered the United States May 4, 2016, at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on a visa, then failed to depart under the terms of his visa.

Alexandre Romao De Oliveira, 41, is a foreign fugitive convicted of raping a child in Brazil in February 2022, and was sentenced to 14 years in prison.

De Oliveira fled Brazil before he could be imprisoned, and crossed the US border in New Mexico on April 16, 2022. He was released with a notice to appear.  ICE agents in Boston arrested him on Monday in Methuen, Massachusetts.

Andre Tiago Lucas, 36, another fugitive from Brazil, wanted for rape of a 13-year-old child in his native country.  Arrested by ICE agents on Oct. 31 in Bourne, Massachusetts.

Lucas was convicted in Brazil on Dec. 6, 2016, of rape of a 13-year-old child and sentenced to serve nine years and four months in prison. He then fled Brazil, and settled in Massachusetts.

Selvin Alex Galvez-Mejia, 20, from Guatemala: charged with rape, indecent assault and battery against Massachusetts minor.  Galvez-Mejia was a ‘gotaway’ who crossed into the US at an unknown location on an unknown date.

According to an ICE press release: The Springfield District Court arraigned Galvez July 18 for two counts aggravated rape of a child and indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or older. The Springfield District Court later released Galvez after he posted bail. Officers with ERO Boston arrested Galvez Oct. 18 in Springfield and issued him a notice to appear before a Department of Justice immigration judge. Galvez remains in ERO custody.

Mateus Silva-Kerkovshy, 24, an illegal alien from Brazil. Arrested Aug. 9 by the Hudson Police Dept. for “assault and battery on a child with an injury, assault and battery against a family or household member, two counts of strangulation or suffocation and intimidation charges.” He was turned over to ICE on August 16.

Silva had illegally entered the US near San Luis, Arizona on Oct. 22, 2021, and was released after being granted parole on Oct. 29, 2021. An immigration judge ordered Silva be deported to Brazil on March 29, 2023, but apparently, that never happened.

Dhennefer Ferreira Pires, 31, a fugitive from Brazil: Arrested Sept. 22, 2024 in Framingham, Mass. on two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Ferreira illegally crossed the US border near Tecate, California, Sep. 9, 2021 and was released with a “notice to appear.” He had fled Brazil prior to serving his criminal sentence there for theft. Ferreira was taken into custody by ICE on Nov. 14.

Columbian fugitive woman, age 38, arrested in Worcester, Mass. on Oct. 17: Wanted for money laundering crimes in her native country.

The woman “lawfully” entered the US in January 2015, but reportedly violated the terms of her lawful admission.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) weighed in, writing, “Beyond reprehensible. January 20th, 2025 cannot come soon enough. President Trump and Tom Homan will fix the nightmare that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris invited into America.”
