From Breitbart: ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in Houston issued detainers for two Mexican nationals recently arrested for intoxication manslaughter. This, as ICE Houston wrapped up a year of aggressive enforcement targeting criminal illegal aliens with repeated drunk‑driving convictions.
“At least 23 families will wake up tomorrow without a loved one,” said acting Field Office Director Gabriel Martinez, calling the trend “reckless and tragic.”
ICE officials told Breitbart Texas that ERO officers in Houston [arrested] 243 criminal aliens since President Donald Trump began his second term just over one year ago who were convicted in three or more DWI incidents. These are felony DWI convictions. Of these 21 were convicted by a Texas court on charges of intoxication manslaughter.
ICE announced in a press release Wednesday:
ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations Houston lodged immigration detainers with the Harris County Jail on Enrique Acevedo Barocio, a 27-year-old criminal illegal alien from Mexico, on Feb. 2 and Manuel Neri Mendoza, a 37-year-old previously returned criminal illegal alien from Mexico with two prior DWI convictions, on Feb. 24, after they were each arrested for intoxicated manslaughter.
The two deadly incidents come on the heels of ICE Houston arresting 21 criminal illegal aliens convicted of intoxicated manslaughter and 243 aliens convicted of three or more DWIs during President Trump’s first year back in office.
On Tuesday, ICE Houston posted profiles of two more illegal aliens who were recently busted for drunk driving.
ICE @EROHouston & the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jorge Alberto Medrano Gordillo, a 5-time deported criminal illegal alien from Mexico, March 2 who is wanted for homicide and has been convicted 3 times for DWI, twice for illegal entry, and once for illegal reentry.
During the arrest, ICE encountered Juan Aguado-Montoya, a 53-year-old criminal illegal alien from Mexico, who has illegally entered the U.S. 3 times and been convicted twice for DWI, and he was taken into custody for immigration violations. 👇
