From the Daily Mail: A healthcare worker who helps patients to breathe has come under fire after he said he was saddened that a shooter did not assassinate Donald Trump when he opened fire on him at a Pennsylvania rally over the weekend.
Thomas O’Donoghue, who has worked as a respiratory therapist in Florida for three decades, wrote online after the shooting: ‘It’s a shame he missed.’
It was uploaded in response to an X post from Donald Trump Jr., the former President’s eldest child, which was branding coverage from CNN a ‘disgrace.’
Multiple social media users are tagging O’Donoghue’s [former] employer, Lee Health.
The facility has responded by saying no one by that name has been employed at Lee Health “for some time.”
No one by that name is employed by Lee Health nor has anyone of that name been employed by Lee Health for some time.

O’Donoghue has now deleted his X/Twitter account.
Hi, @Lee_Health. Is this vile rhetoric from @thomaso61 the sort of thing you endorse from your employees? pic.twitter.com/HNlHxOK9H9
