Democrat Senator Jon Fetterman of Pennsylvania has set up an account on Truth Social, a social media platform founded by President-elect Donald Trump.
Fetterman wrote his first (and so far, only) post on the platform on Tuesday, and called for the ‘hush money’ case against Trump to be pardoned.
His comment was in reference to an MSNBC report announcing that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has refused to dismiss the case.
Fetterman wrote on Truth Social, “My first truth 👇. The Trump hush money and Hunter Biden cases were both bullshit, and pardons are appropriate.”
“Weaponizing the judiciary for blatant, partisan gain diminishes the collective faith in our institutions and sows further division,” hd added.

This comes after Fetterman declared in an appearance on ABC’s ‘The View’ that Trump should be pardoned.
“I think it’s undeniable that the case against Hunter Biden was really politically motivated, but I also think it’s true that the trial in New York for Trump was political too,” Fetterman told ‘The View’ hosts. “In both cases, I think a pardon is appropriate and I think collectively, I think Americans’ confidence in these institutions have been damaged by these kinds of cases and we can’t allow these kinds of institutions to be weaponized against our political opponents and it’s very clear, both trials were politically motivated and weaponized on the other side.”
