REPORT: Elon Musk responds after university staffer threatens DOGE employees with brazen post

17

From Fox News: An employee of Boston University said that staff working for the Department of Government Efficiency are “wanted for treason, dead or alive.”

Jared May, who was listed online as an assistant media technician at Boston University, posted to the social media site Bluesky, a graphic that included pictures of several young men who allegedly work for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The graphic includes the text, “WANTED FOR TREASON, DEAD OR ALIVE.”

DOGE, headed by Elon Musk, founder and chief executive of SpaceX and Tesla Inc, seeks to streamline government efficiency and cut waste, a campaign promise that President Donald Trump ran on in the 2024 presidential election.

Along with the graphic, May wrote a caption that listed several names of the young men pictured.

A spokesperson for the university said in a statement “We are aware of a post made by an employee on his personal social media account…. We do not comment on personnel matters. The views expressed do not reflect the values of Questrom School of Business.”

May’s staff webpage on the Boston University website now appears to have been deleted.

Libs of TikTok blasted out a screenshot of the shocking post, and wrote, “Meet Jared May, an assistant media technician at Boston University (@BUQuestrom). Jared called for DOGE employees to be kiIIed. Boston University received millions of dollars in federal funding. Perhaps @DOGE should look into it.”

A day later, May’s BlueSky account was deleted, and he has been scrubbed from the University’s website.

Libs of TikTok then exposed a long list of federal agencies who have been funneling money to the Boston University, and wrote, “Someone at @DOGE should seriously look into the millions of funding that @BU_Tweets gets from nearly 2 dozen federal agencies.”

“Noted,” responded Elon Musk.

“He has committed a crime,” Musk added.

Libs of TikTok later announced, ” Newly appointed U.S. Attorney in Massachusetts, Leah Foley, said she’s investigating a post from a Boston University employee to determine if he broke the law. The employee, Jared May, effectively put a bounty on the DOGE employees’ heads.”
