REPORT: Duffy vows to fight back after court allows illegal aliens to drive big rigs

6

From Fox News: Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy blasted a court ruling Monday denying the Trump administration’s request to keep illegal immigrants from getting commercial driver’s licenses (CDL).

“We’re not going to take this lying down,” Duffy said on “The Ingraham Angle.”

“We are going to do all we can to protect the American people.”

Duffy’s remarks come after a federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., ruled last Thursday that the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) restrictions on immigrants obtaining commercial driver’s licenses cannot be enforced.

Of the illegal aliens driving trucks on America’s highways, Duffy said that most can’t even speak English, and warned, “They can drive school buses, they can drive oil tankers — they don’t know what they’re doing.”

Duffy blamed the Biden administration for allowing millions of illegals into the country, and declared that he was not going to take the court ruling lying down.

“People are dying from DANGEROUS foreign drivers operating big rigs on our roads. We’re fighting a federal court ruling that claims my emergency order to stop this crisis isn’t actually an emergency. Tell that to the families who have lost loved ones to these unqualified drivers! When American lives are on the line, we will do everything we can to protect the American people🇺🇸,” he vowed.
