From Breitbart: A school bus driver was fired after she required students to speak English on her bus, in an effort to address and put a stop to bullying that was happening on the transport.
Diane Crawford, 66, placed a note on the bus window with the words, “Out of respect to English-only students, there will be no speaking Spanish on this bus,” according to Local21 News.
Crawford, a “self-employed owner/operator” who was subcontracted by Rohrer Bus to serve the Juniata County School District in Mifflintown, Pennsylvania, explained to the outlet that she placed the sign up “to encourage safe and respectful behavior.”
Crawford added that the sign “was directed at a bilingual student who allegedly had a history of riling up other students in Spanish,” according to the outlet.
“I didn’t know if he was bullying somebody, telling them to do something they shouldn’t do. How do you keep control of your bus if you have no control?” Crawford said in an interview, adding, “I didn’t mean to be racially insensitive or anything like that.”
Now Crawford has been fired for placing the “English only” sign in the bus.
“I dedicated everything I had to drive and bus and it was for the kids. I love the kids,” a distraught Crawford said. “I don’t know what else to do. I get Medicare and Medicaid now, and SNAP. I had to get on antidepressants because of this.”
Crawford was reportedly fired back in February. She is just now speaking out, to share her side of the story.
A GiveSendGo fundraiser has been established to help Crawford, and has raised over $22,000 so far. A description on the fundraiser reads:

The diversity overlords at the Juniata County School District couldn’t handle it. They labeled her sign “racially insensitive” (translation: too White for their globalist tastes) and fired her. Now Diane’s out of a job, heartbroken, and probably wondering if she accidentally drove into a parallel universe where speaking English is a hate crime.
