REPORT: Democratic Party tries to pin ‘record high’ 2025 grocery prices on Trump – but it completely backfires

The Democrat Party just gave Republicans the perfect graph to use for every campaign ad for the next four years.

From the New York Post: The Democratic National Committee (DNC) drew widespread mockery Thursday over a since-deleted social media post that showed how the cost of groceries skyrocketed under former President Joe Biden.

The X post included a graph of soaring cheese, alcohol, dairy, grocery, produce and meat prices dating back to October 2019, with the major inflection point being near the start of the Biden administration in 2021.

“Trump’s America,” read the tweet shared by @TheDemocrats.

“Prices are higher today than they were on July 2024 all in major categories listed below,” read the caption on the graphic, which did not note the source of the data.

The jaw-dropping graph actually shows that just after Joe Biden took the Oval Office, grocery prices shot through the roof and stayed there the entire four years of his term.

The mockery over the post was so bad the Democrat Party has now deleted it, but screenshots are going wild on social media.

“Wait until they find out who was president in 21,22,23 and 24,” one person mocked.

“Guys, I don’t think this chart is communicating the message you want communicated,” X user Luke Thompson wrote.

“Um, that was Biden, and he’s on your team ya goons,” another X user quipped.

Journalist Kyle Becker wrote, “BREAKING: @TheDemocrats *DELETE* one of the dumbest posts in @X history after getting ratioed into oblivion.”

The White House Rapid Response Team had some fun with it as well, as they highlighted the exact time period Biden was in office.
